lyrics

Lights

We are surrounded by thousands of bodies
But seems like there’s not a single soul.
And I am standing on the edge –
I am a catcher in the rye.

Whom did I catch yesterday?
My friends or you.
Unclear if someone’s going to catch me…

Void in the middle of the week
But lips taste like barley.
As yesterday I’m sliding in a haze
Among familiar faces that are falling down.
What will today’s groundhog day be like?

Lights, the lights are lugging me away.
If only I could touch them.
Alone, we are alone in this lonesome city.
Catch me on the way home…

The story of our friendship starts in early 2000's when most of us used to play in local DIY Hardcore and Post-Hardcore acts and after this experience we formed Bicycles for Afghanistan as our softer and melancholic side of nature. ... more
